It is a step in the lower Alentejo’s steppe zone, known as the white fields. It is especially suitable for bird watching, observation of flora, cereal fields, fallow, and contact with the social traditions of the villages and mounts. The route does not show accentuated differences, being especially suitable for those who like to walk. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing.

Near the house there is a dam where it is possible to catch small fish (mostly Black Bass).
Close to the dam there is a river beach, with sand on one of the banks, making it possible to extend the towel or soak up the sun and where you can enjoy 8 sun loungers and 4 straw hats. The river beach, also offers a great place of rest and contact with nature. In parallel, it encourages the practice of canoeing and boat rides, provided with all necessary equipment. There are 4 vests available in a tent near the river beach. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, hat, comfortable clothes and shoes adapted to the water. From the Monte house to the river beach there is a footbridge to the beach.
